I’ve always adored this lovely photo of Sharin Foo, the guitarist of The Raveonettes. She carries herself in such confident manner what with her bleach blonde haircut, high-heels and electric guitar that it’s hard to not take notice. Like the lipstick rockers before her (think Liz Phair, PJ Harvey, Chrissie Hynde, etc.), Sharin’s sex appeal is her greatest weapon next to the reverb-laden guitar she wields. I can’t think of a current female guitarist who is as striking as Sharin Foo.
