This weekend I decided to watch It Might Get Loud, a music documentary about three legendary guitarists: Jack White (of White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather), The Edge (of U2) and Jimmy Page (of Led Zepplin). 

It’s definitely worth watching, even if you’re not a fan of The White Stripes, U2 or Led Zepplin (can’t imagine anyone not liking one of them). It grants you an interesting look into how they became involved with music, their struggles to achieve fame and their individual approaches to playing guitar. What was most striking to me was how long it took Jimmy Page to find his niche and even when he did find Zepplin, critics didn’t seem to appreciate what the band was doing for rock ‘n roll. Wish they would make more music documentaries that are this well-done.
